HEART FOR MINISTRY
Desire to see people understand God’s love and grow in knowledge of Who He is and who they are created to be.  This leads to a right relationship with the Trinity and with people and will bring wholeness and healing. It will allow each person to become all that they were meant to be so that in turn they can help others reach that same point.

LIFE JOURNEY
Liz was born in Lynchburg, VA, then moved to IL before her 3rd birthday with her Mother, Daddy and baby brother Johnnie. Before moving she would go to church where Granddaddy was Pastor. She doesn't remember, but has often heard how she would sneak up on the platform and sit with the ministers declaring, “When I grow up I am going to be a preacher.” Growing up her parents dropped her and her brother off at Sunday School or found someone to take them. She was saved in a Foursquare Church at age 13 during a Sunday morning service when she saw a friend receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. During her senior year in high school she moved back to Virginia, then graduated from Altavista High School. Liz attended Mount Vernon Bible College in Mt. Vernon, OH for one year, then transferred to LIFE in Los Angeles where she graduated.  It was there she discovered her passion for education.

After graduation from LIFE in Los Angeles she came to Evangel as the very first staff person serving as Christian Education Director and Child Care Director.  Evangel Child Care (Kiddie Kollege) was still in the planning stages. Today she serves as Church Administrator and Executive Director of the child care.  Liz is actively involved in education for all ages and teaches adults on Wednesday nights.

I was appointed by five governors to serve on the Child Care Advisory Panel and the Virginia Child Day Care Council, and served as Vice-Chair of the Council for 6 years.  I am the former Vice President of Certification and Accreditation and the current President of IACCEPT (International Accreditation and Certification of Childhood Educators, Programs and Trainers). I am a trainer for child care workers in central and southwest Virginia.

I received my masters in Theology from Beacon University. I enjoy helping people with their finances; and also helping them to discover their spiritual gifts and temperaments.

I enjoy spending time with family (Mother, brother, many relatives) and friends, teaching, reading, writing, bargain hunting, traveling, and being with people (I still meet people who remember the television ministry from years ago).

I John 4:10 – the verse that changed my life and brought healing to me.
